An entrepreneur at heart, AJ's business endeavors have ranged from
beekeeping, running a winery, and, most notably, creating iCracked as
a student at Cal Poly-SLO. As a college student, he found himself
with a perpetually broken iPhone and little money to fix it. Being the DIYer
that he is, he researched online and began fixing his own
devices, and then his friends' devices, and then his classmates.
Thus, iCracked was born. The name came from a joke that when he broke his device he had downloaded the iCracked app. He then teamed up with now co-founder Anthony
Martin and began expanding campus to campus.
From those humble-dorm room beginnings in 2010, iCracked has grown to
be the world's largest on-demand smartphone repair network mobile over
5,000 certified iTechs nationwide and in 11 countries. The company was
selected #22 on Inc. Magazine's Inc 5000, and AJ was listed as one of
Forbes 30 Under 30. AJ, Anthony, the team at HQ and national network
of iTechs are manic in their quest to change the way people care for
their most precious devices.
